Proposed Bylaws Amendment November 2016


This ammends the proposed changes to the bylaws from October 2016. The purpose is to change the membership section (section 2) of the bylaws, to increase membership fees (prices reduced from the October proposal), and simplifying and updating other language. New Hampshire Liberty Alliance 2016 State Candidate Endorsements - Final Results

The general election recounts are completed and we now have final election results.

For the 2016 election season, the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance endorsed a total of 131 candidates including primary candidates. Of these, 24 candidates lost their primary leaving 107 endorsed candidates going into the general election. We are pleased to report that of these 107 endorsed candidates, 71 candidates won their general election race. In total, more than 66% of endorsed candidates in the general election won their race.

Over $33,000 in Campaign Donations this Election Cycle

Proposed Bylaws Amendments October 2016

At our Board meeting held on Sunday, Oct 9, 2016, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve the following proposed bylaws amendments. All NHLA members are encouraged to review these proposed changes and provide any feedback to the Board at Per the procedure for changing the bylaws, these must be approved a second time by at least 4/5 of the Board prior to taking effect. The next Board meeting is currently scheduled to take place on November 12th. These proposed changes will also be included in the October newsletter and emailed to all members.

Nominations open for Chairman of the Board and Director of Research

Nominations for Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of Research are open until November 15th.  The elections will begin on November 18, 2016.

All full and lifetime members are eligible to run for these positions.  Members of the Board of Directors serve two-year terms.
