Darryl W. Perry Candidate Statement:

Darryl W. Perry has spent most of his adult life as an advocate & activist for peace and liberty. Darryl moved to NH in April 2012 to join other freedom-lovers to work toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of individuals’ rights to life, liberty, and property. He ran for President in 2016 with a goal to run the most libertarian presidential campaign in history, to promote the ideas of liberty as boldly and as often as possible, and to give as many people as possible the chance to vote for an actual libertarian in November 2016. After the Libertarian National Convention, Perry formed Liberty Lobby LLC, a crowd-funded lobbying firm, to lobby the New Hampshire Legislature the ideas of minimal government and maximum freedom.  Darryl has also been one of the top Bill Reviewers over the last 3 years.  Darryl was elected Chair of the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire in September 2016, after having twice served as LPNH Secretary.

Lisa Cole Candidate Statement:

Lisa has been active in the liberty community since 2011 when she began providing medical services for Fr133 (a volutary medical service to the community) . Since then, she has continued to provide medical consults for attendees of Porcfest and mentor to other volunteers annually for the past 7 years. Lisa has been a member of the NHLA since 2014 and has sponsored the annual NHLA dinner, along with her partner, Alex Hunter. Pursuing her dream of many years, Lisa was able to move to our beloved liberty community in 2015. She, and her partner, are working on turning a local home into a boarding house with the hope to also provide space for new movers to become settled in our community. Lisa also plans to open a medical office within the community.  Professionally, she works as a hospitalist/nurse practitioner at a local critical access hospital and continues to donate her time and support to various charities. Lisa's excellent organizational skills and desire to become more involved in achieving "Liberty in our Lifetime" make her an ideal candiate for secretary of the NHLA.

Jaime Prout Candidate Statement:

I'm super excited to be running for the Secretary position on the NHLA board! I was raised in California where the concept of liberty is not exactly understood, however my father was a commercial fisherman and I spent two years of my childhood in the middle of the Pacific Ocean about 2 weeks from the nearest point of land; voila, I learned the joys of liberty! We worked in a cooperative fleet with no formal rules, just respect and appreciation for our community, and it worked great. I loved that concept and took it with me when I moved to Boston for college where I met my husband and learned about the FSP. We moved to NH in 2013 and became a part of the Nashua community who soon turned into family. We had our two wonderful sons here, and I thought that was activism enough. I have followed the gold standard since we moved, but when my husband was elected state rep last year, our date nights became long hours discussing policy and libertarian philosophy. Since then, I have really wanted to become more involved in the NHLA and was excited this opportunity came up. As a scientist by trade, I am very organized and pay close attention to detail. In the past I have served as secretary in student counsel, and parliamentarian and social chair in my college sorority. I know I have the enthusiasm and skills to excel in this position. I look forward to this opportunity!
