NHLA Newsletter for Liberty Dinner Guest Speaker
The guest speaker for our 9th annual Liberty Dinner will be Cheye Calvo, mayor of Berwyn Heights, Maryland, whose home was raided by a SWAT team on July 29, 2008. His two dogs were shot and killed. He has since advocated for greater transparency of SWAT team activities.
The dinner will be held on Sunday, July 15th at the Chateau Restaurant in Manchester. As is tradition, we will be announcing the Legislator of the Year, Activist of the Year, and release the 2012 Legislative Report Card.
A VIP reception will be held from 5-6pm, with proceeds going to the NHLA Political Action Committee which helps fund pro-liberty candidates running for state office.
