House Veto session and food drive, 10/28 10 AM

2009-10-28 10:00 am

Our NH State Reps will be meeting on 10/28 at 10 AM to take action on the 3 bills the Governor has vetoed.

They are:

1) HB 443, an act relative to underground storage facility operator training and relative to requirements for guaranteed price plans and prepaid contracts for petroleum

2) HB 648-FN, an act relative to the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes

3) HB 655, an act extending senior active status to judges over 70 years of age.

We will be producing a Gold Standard for this session. Can you help pass them out? Email research@nhliberty.org to make arrangements.

There will also be a Legislative Food Drive on 10/28. They will be collecting non-perishable food items for the NH Food Bank. October is canned soup month but they will accept any non-perishable food items. Large cardboard boxes will be set up in the House Common Room (Rm. 121-122, SH) where you may drop off your food items. Check donations will also be accepted, made payable to the N.H. Food Bank.
