With the 2012 legislative session in full swing, the Board would like to remind our members that the NHLA does provide training for those interested in offering testimony at public hearings in Concord. Our goal is to provide you with the best information available, based on our experience, on how to become a more effective and influential testifier at the State House. We will share with you our secrets, such as proper tone and decorum, that are essential to getting your message across and successfully heard by a Committee.
Currently, the Board is planning to hold testimony training sometime in March. Date and location will be announced once they are finalized. For those who may want to take part in this form of activism, please email secretary@nhliberty.org.
Remember, only those who have undergone the training, and are given special permission by the Board, are allowed to testify as a representative of the NHLA. The Board appreciates and encourages all members to continue their participation in the political process, and when providing testimony at public hearings, we ask that you do so only as a private, concerned citizen and never on behalf of the NHLA.
It is imperative that the NHLA maintains a respectable reputation and rapport with our legislators in order for us to remain a positive, powerful, influential force in Concord. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The NHLA recognizes that its members in New Hampshire are from all parts of the state. While much of the activities take place in the Manchester and Concord areas the NHLA would like to expand it presence through the state. In the past few months the NHLA has appointed regional coordinators in the Upper Valley and Seacoast areas and has held events in Plymouth and Dover. Please contact the Membership Director, Keith Ammon at membership@nhliberty.org, if you are interested in becoming a NHLA regional coordinator in your area.
The NHLA website has been updated to enable reoccurring monthly donations to be made to the NHLA Political Action Committee. PAC funds will go toward NHLA endorsed candidates for state office. Endorsements are based on candidate surveys and/or Liberty Rating scores from previous House incumbency voting records if available. The goal of a monthly donation is to start early in building up funds to support pro-liberty candidates come election time. Please visit http://www.nhliberty.org/campaign-fund to help the NHLA make an even bigger impact on future elections.
