The Legislative Administration Committee has suddenly scheduled a public hearing for HB1693 for Monday, March 8th at 2pm in the Legislative Office Building in room 208. HB1693 is a late-filed bill by Rep. Chandler to strip the Facilities Committee of the power to control firearms, knives, and other tools of self-defense within the State House complex; it also repeals the unconstitutional ban put into effect on December 21st of last year. It is vital that the community and NHLA members come to this hearing to support the bill and self-defense freedom in New Hampshire. If you can not be there in person, please write a personal and polite note to the members of the Legislative Administration Committee today! You can view the bill here and find the contact information for the Legislative Administration Committee here. | 9

CACR29, relating to parental rights, would provide that the state shall not abridge the responsibility of parents for the health, education, and welfare of their children. HB1343, sponsored by liberty stalwarts Reps. Itse, Ingbretson, and Comerford, would establish a joint committee on the constitutionality of acts, orders, laws, statutes, regulations, and rules of the government of the United States of America in order to protect state sovereignty. HB1580, relative to home schooling. The freedom-supporting homeschoolers are planning a rally this morning to support this bill. We're trying to get a big crowd to put big pressure on the House, like we did in January. | 11
