The Ways and Means Committee is holding a 2 day "State revenue information session". The Chair of the committee is in favor of an income tax. If you're not in favor of seeing an income tax and/or a broad based sales tax enacted in NH, come on down to listen in (no public comment will be allowed as this is not a public hearing). Pick up your "No New Taxes" sticker to let them know why you're there. There may be a protest going on outside too if that's of more interest to you.

Our NH State Reps will be meeting on 10/28 at 10 AM to take action on the 3 bills the Governor has vetoed.
They are:
1) HB 443, an act relative to underground storage facility operator training and relative to requirements for guaranteed price plans and prepaid contracts for petroleum
2) HB 648-FN, an act relative to the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes
3) HB 655, an act extending senior active status to judges over 70 years of age.
We will be producing a Gold Standard for this session. Can you help pass them out? Email research@nhliberty.org to make arrangements.
